*Editor's note - We all recently learned of our Chapter receiving this award, however did you know the back story ? I certainly did not, I had no idea ! (Forgive me, I have missed a couple of chapter meetings this year already !) Thanks to Luz Garcia informing us at the May meeting and circulating a copy of the application submitted to CLSA for consideration for the award. The application was prepared by Tom Mastin. Please take the time to review the application. Within it you will find many tidbits of history about our chapter, understand how some members have been dedicated to the chapter and its mission during the past numerous decades and continue to provide guidance to our newest generation of members. Many THANKS to Tom for the time and work putting together the impressive application package. Something we should all be proud of and appreciate Tom for all is he has done for all of us for a half century !
